There are quite a few trailer parks in the area between Ithaca and Dryden. For me as a German the concept of living in a stationary trailer is still a little foreign. This one near Etna is abandoned and looks not very inviting.

I am a Columbia University film student. I am going to shoot my thesis film and scouting around Ithaca. We are looking for a location that has the feeling of a small depressing town. I really like this photo, can you please give me the name of the trailer park so me and my producer can check out this place? Thank you!

If you want a depressing town, Ithaca is the wrong place to scout! This abandoned trailer park is located near the village of Freeville, Google Maps link: http://goo.gl/maps/nE8Qj. At the time this photo was taken (in 2009) this was cordoned off due to safety concerns, I don't know if any of the structures there are left today.
