I haven't seen any blackbirds in Ithaca all week long (maybe they just don't exist here). Instead I spotted a lot of these ones. Do you know what species they are?

#170 Squirrels...scary when you see them close

Since this one was so brave, as mentioned 2 days ago, we could very close, and I have to admit, it lookes a little scary! You want to know another secret? : They are not so cute anymore if you see hundreds of them every day runnning aroung.

Even the pols in the parking lot, which are supposed to prevent cars from driving into pedestrian walkways, are high-end design products. The striking red color makes a beautiful match with the bright yellow stripes. So Ithaca is colorful, not only by nature, but also by design. ;-)
