I was doing a bike tour following a route I had picked up on Google Maps. Unfortunately the road on Google Maps was not a road in the real world. Actually, the maps on Google are surprisingly bad in the Ithaca area.

You can actually make google fix these! Just right click, and "report problem" and let them know it's a walking path and not a road and they will update it. I got them to fix the East hill rec way and a few others like this. Generally takes 2-4 weeks for the update to show up.
