#272 November @ Hangar Theatre

Last week we cycled over to Hangar Theatre in the evening to watch the play November. We had not been to Hangar Theatre before and weren't quite sure what to expect. First of all, we had no tickets and were unsure whether it might be sold out - it wasn't but it was still pretty full. Then we had no idea what calibre this theatre operates at - the actors were great and we really enjoyed it. The building is small (compared to the Royal Albert Hall that we are used to) and has seen better years but what does that matter if the people working there are nice and you can get brownies for $1 a piece during the break? People looked at us a little strange because we came on our bikes (everyone else seemed to be there by car). Our first venture into the Ithaca theatre scene was a good one. We'll try the State or maybe the Kitchen Theatre next. Stay tuned for our very unprofessional reviews of those!
